Ingredients – active ingredients of Ngoc Linh Ginseng
Up to now, scientists have identified 104 compounds with 84 compounds with 84 saponin combinations in Ngoc Linh Ginseng, of which 26 saponin compounds have known structures (commonly found in Korean Ginseng, American Ginseng, Japanese Ginseng) and 58 dammaran saponins have new structures not found in other ginsengs in the world. Ngoc Linh ginseng contains mainly triterpene saponins, but is also one of the ginseng plants with the highest dammarane saponin content (about 12 to 15%). Thus, it can be said that Ngoc Linh ginseng has a high saponin content, the largest amount of saponins compared to other species of the Panax genus.
According to scientists and professional agencies at home and abroad, Ngoc Linh ginseng is ranked as one of the four most precious ginseng plants in the world (American ginseng, Korean ginseng, North Korean ginseng, Vietnamese ginseng), highly appreciated not only for its economic value, but also for its medicinal and health-enhancing effects.
Saponin is considered the main group of compounds that determine the biological effects of Ngoc Linh ginseng (Vietnamese ginseng). The chemical composition of Ngoc Linh ginseng (Vietnamese ginseng) is as follows:
Pharmacological effects of Ngoc Linh ginseng on health
